Songchuan Pine Chemicals Co., Ltd. Pine Chemicals Co. fractionates Crude Tall Oil (CTO) into Tall Oil
Fatty Acid (TOFA) and Tall Oil Rosin (TOR). We also manufacture TOR based resins
for the ink and adhesive markets.
Tall oil products are widely recognized as important
components for many industrial applications. Due to its’ unique composition and
properties, TOFA is commonly used as building blocks for coating resins, dimer acids,
industrial cleaners, metalworking fluids, emulsifiers, oilfield chemicals, mining
reagents, metal carboxylates and rubber chemicals. With properties similar to gum
rosin, TOR can be used in manufacturing of paper sizing agents, adhesive resins,
ink/coating resins and rubber compounds.
Being the first China producer to operate a tall oil distillation plant on a continuing basis in 1986 and one of the large CTO fractionators
in the world, SCPC has built extensive product knowledge to serve our
